Teva Pharmaceutical to Implement Orsus® Situator™ for Security and Safety Situation Management

LONDON, December 5, 2006 – Orsus, a pioneer in security and safety situation management software, today announced that Teva Pharmaceutical Industries LTD. (NASDAQ:TEVA), the world's biggest maker of generic prescription drugs, will implement the full suite of Situator software products to provide converged security and safety situation management.

Situator is a situation management software suite for integrated control rooms. It creates an environment where all current and future technologies, people and actionable procedures are fused into a unified, control and management platform that empowers control room personnel
to focus on exception management.

The first in a series of Situator implementations for Teva will be at Teva-Tech,
the fastest growing manufacturing facility of Teva’s Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) division. Teva-Tech facilities in Ramat Hovav, Israel include many high-volume manufacturing areas where most of Teva's APIs are synthesized.

Using Situator, Teva will converge their awareness technologies, including
surveillance and safety video, perimeter security, distress buttons, fire alarm sensors, environmental sensors and other devices and systems so that they can be easily monitored
from a single control room. These converged technologies will be integrated into a unified
security and safety strategy with automated procedures to help reduce control room complexity and to accelerate response to routine and emergency situations.
